Day 12 - Cotting School

The first private, free day school for children with physical disabilities in the United States was established in 1893. This school originally was named the Industrial School for Crippled and Deformed Children and was established to insure that children with physical disabilities were receiving a proper education. Today, the school is named Cotting School.
