Day 16 - The Henry Street School Settlement

Elizabeth E. Farrell worked at the Henry Street School in New York City. With the support of reformer Lillian Wald, Farrell attempted for the first time to educate “atypical” children. It was here that Farrell was able to create her first special education curriculum which was tailored around the specific needs of her students.
