Day 26 - Cornelius E. van Koetsveld

Today, November 4th, is the anniversary of the death of Cornelius E. van Koetsveld. Van Koetsveld established the first private institution for people with mental disabilities in the Netherlands. The school was established in 1855 and was originally named the “School for Idiots.”
