Day 36 - Title VI of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act

The Elementary and Secondary Education Act was amended in November of 1966 to include grant programs in special education. This program is included in Title VI part A and allows the US Commissioner of Education to make grants to states to assist in the expansion and development of programs for students with disabilities.
