Day 40 - CEC Professional Standards

The Council for Exceptional Children first published the Professional Standards for Personnel in Education of Exceptional Children in 1966. Today, CEC has published special education professional ethical principles as well as special education standards for professional practice. These standards guide areas of the profession such as teaching and assessment, professional development, case management, and parents and families.
