Pennsylvania Association of Retarded Children v. Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is a court case from the early 1970s which dealt with the exclusion of children from public schools because of developmental and or intellectual disabilities. The ruling held that all students of school age had to be placed in schools with a degree of parental participation.
