Day 46 - CEC and The National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education
The National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education formed in 1954 to establish national standards for accreditation of teacher education programs. The NCATE formed a partnership with the Council of Exceptional Children in 1977 to approve training programs.
