Day 53 - Carl D. Perkins Vocational Education

Public Law 98-524, or the Carl D. Perkins Vocational Education Act was passed in 1984. The act established vocational and technical education programs which would help people with disabilities gain valuable job skills. The Carl D. Perkins Vocational Education Act was a revision of the 1963 Vocational Education Act, the Council for Exceptional Children was involved in the redesigning of the law.
