Day 62 - Adoption of Standards by CEC

An early post on Day 40 discussed the publication of the Professional Standards for Personnel in Education in 1966. Seventeen years later in 1983 the Council for Exceptional Children implemented additional standards such as the Code of Ethics, Standards for Professional Practice, Standards for the Preparation of Special Education Personnel, and Standards for Entry to Professional Practice.
