Day 76 - CEC Publishes Materials on Multicultural Education

In 1991 The Council for Exceptional Children published materials on multicultural education. Included in these publications was a major ERIC digest focusing on language for minority students with disabilities as a way to empower students. Also published in 1991 was the book Exceptional Children at Risk: CEC Mini Library. This book addressed the social issues such as poverty, drug abuse, and child abuse, which could negatively affect children.
