Day 61 - Establishment of the Adaptive Seating and Equipment Center


In 1982 the New Jersey Institute for Disabilities opened the Adaptive Seating and Equipment Center at Lakeview School. This center continues today to provide consultations and assessments for mobility devices and seating systems. At its founding, the Adaptive Seating and Equipment Center was the first of its kind in New Jersey.
